David MacKinlay’s relationship with Queen Alexandra Elementary began through his commitment to the school’s “Fill the Gaps” program, for which he delivered bi-weekly dinner packs containing meals for 30 families.

With David’s death, his family has established a fund in his name to launch Queen Alexandra’s new Literacy Program, to provide students with technology and instruction to help them thrive as readers and writers in our modern world.

Queen Alexandra is an inner city school and its students have many needs. Literacy is a gift that can help change their lives. Your donation in memory of Dave will help Queen Alexandra reach its goal of $50,000 for the new Literacy Program.
