Smile Cookie Week is Here!

From April 27 to May 3 2026, the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign returns, bringing communities together across Canada for a sweet cause. During this weeklong campaign, 100% of the proceeds from every Smile Cookie sold will be donated to local charities and community groups — and this year, Adopt-a-School is honoured to be one of the selected recipients!

Supporting Students in Surrey & Maple Ridge
All funds raised through Smile Cookie sales in support of Adopt-a-School this year will go directly toward school programs in Surrey and Maple Ridge. As always, the programs funded through this campaign will support students’ learning, wellbeing, and connection.

Throughout the campaign, seven Tim Hortons locations across Surrey and Maple Ridge will be raising funds for Adopt-a-School. See the map below to find your closest Tim Hortons restaurant!

A National Tradition of Giving
Each year, Tim Hortons restaurant owners and guests rally together to make a real difference in their local communities. Last year alone, Smile Cookie supporters helped raise $22.6 million for nearly 700 charities and community groups across Canada, contributing to more than $151 million raised since the campaign began in 1996.

Every Smile Cookie is as unique as the people, charities, and communities they help, and every cookie purchased at one of our designated locations helps support students right here in BC.

Vancouver Sun Children’s Fund Adopt-a-School 2026 Campaign

Each year, the Vancouver Sun Children’s Fund’s Adopt-a-School campaign helps connect generous donations with schools and community organizations across British Columbia that are supporting children and families in need.

During our annual campaign, schools apply for funding to help cover essentials like food, warm clothing, school supplies and emergency supports — and every dollar raised goes directly to meeting needs that local educators see first-hand.

Over the past decade, the campaign has directed more than $15 million to hundreds of schools and organizations and has made a real difference in classrooms and communities across the province. At a time when targeted government supports have been discontinued, and stretching school budgets even thinner, community support matters more than ever. Many schools are facing increased demand for basics like food and supplies, and you can help today by donating to the Vancouver Sun Children’s Fund.

Your support helps ensure that schools have the resources they need to give every child a fair chance to learn and thrive — because when children are supported, our whole community benefits.
