Vast Centre: Wearing Love  $5,000

We support the most vulnerable student population in Nanaimo. Our purpose is to improve the life chances of every student. We hope to use these funds to give students warm clothing for the winter months. In the past we have found that if students are able to receive clothing with our school logo on it, they feel like they belong to our school family. When they feel like they belong to a family, they commit to the family and are safe.

Through our school based team, we will determine what students require warm clothing for the cold months. Our team will find a way to provide this to each student without any shame attached.  Your generosity from last year’s grant helped get kids off the street and across the graduation stage. We will be forever grateful.
