The Community Connections program at Queneesh Elementary in Courtenay is designed to provide engagement opportunities for students and their families through game nights, family picnics and geo-caching events.

The school is seeking a Vancouver Sun Children’s Fund Adopt-A-School grant of $2,500 to support 480 students and their families, helping to bring the community together and allowing staff to build great working relationships with parents while in a safe environment.
