Britannia Secondary: Outreach Program Emergency Funds

Britannia Alternative Outreach program supports approximately 40 students on the east side of Vancouver. This program serves a approximately 40 high-risk youth between the ages of 16-18 years old.

The school’s Youth and Family Worker navigates crises and concerns with students on a daily basis which makes them keenly aware of on-going basic needs for food and clothing such as rain and snow jackets, pants and underwear.

Britannia Secondary has requested a grant from The Vancouver Sun Children’s Fund Adopt-a-School program of $3,000 for emergency support for families who have no food at home, or cannot buy their children clothing.
